Project Description
W&A Engineering is excited to feature the SpringHill Suites Hotel under construction on 220 South Hull Street in downtown Athens. A longtime Athens hotelier, Benson Hospitality Group, is the developer behind the proposed 8-story structure that will include 200 beds, a parking structure, a fitness center, meeting space, and dining areas. W&A successfully executed a zoning action for the site on behalf of the Benson Group in 2015 and remained on the project team to complete the survey, civil design, and overall permitting for the project.
SpringHill Suites broke ground in October of 2016 with construction likely continuing through 2017.
