Jenkins Featured in Work-Based Learning Program Article

As part of North Oconee High School’s Work-Based Learning Program, James Jenkins works at W&A Engineering in the afternoons and completes tasks for all departments that make up our company. This experience gives Jenkins a better understanding of our business organization, the different responsibilities of the departments, and how we work together to accomplish goals. Jenkins, along with other students in his program, was featured in the January 2014 issue of Athens Oconee Parent Magazine. According to the article, the Work-Based Learning Program helps “students combine academics with “real world” experience to develop future career goals”.
