Through the W&A Engineering Community Involvement Initiative, Mike Greenlee, PE, volunteered his time this past Monday afternoon at Extra Special People, Inc.’s (ESP) ML5K! W&A Engineering provides employees with an opportunity to be of service within our community by allowing employees to use up to 8 hours of paid time to volunteer and get involved. Internally, W&A Engineering has a goal of 200 hours of community service for 2014.
Extra Special People, Inc. is a non-profit organization that recognizes children with developmental disabilities and works towards providing them and their families with guidance and support while focusing on their abilities – not disabilities. W&A Engineering has supported ESP on many occasions and Greenlee was more than happy to help with the organization of the 5k race that benefits ESP.
